A Legendary Twenty-Niner and Baltimorean: FATHER EUGENE PATRICK O’GRADY
Eugene Patrick O’Grady was born on July 25, 1909 in Baltimore, Maryland, the son of Mr. Patrick and Mrs. Delia O’Grady of 1821 West Fayette Street. Both of Eugene’s parents were natives of the picturesque province of Connaught in northwest Ireland, an area where the locals have maintained a fierce pride in their distinctive Irish heritage and language for centuries.
